Undeliverable direct mail costs money. Update and standardize address information, identify movers and eliminate waste with Polk’s List Hygiene Services. Our postal purifier capabilities include:
NCOALinkTM (National Change of Address)
Based on information submitted to the United States Postal Service® (USPS), your database is standardized and appended with the most recent forwarding addresses. This enables you to:
- Minimize undeliverables
- Update your file with the most current ZIP+4
- Reduce costs of requesting address correction from the USPS
- Drop records identified as moved with no forwarding address
TotalSource Change of Address™ (TCOA)
TCOA is compiled from several sources including magazine subscriptions, catalog houses, insurance and credit companies. Because over 20% of all movers do NOT file a change of address with the United States Postal Service®, TCOA enables you to identify many of these movers, as well as those that were near matches through NCOA.
CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System)
This address standardization service corrects address imperfections including:
- Street names
- State abbreviations
- 5-digit ZIP
- Carrier route codes
- USPS Delivery Point Bar Code (DPBC)
LACS (Locatable Address Conversion System)
This is the official United States Postal Service® database of rural and corresponding house/street information.
USPS Delivery Sequence File/Delivery Point Validation (DSF2/DPV)
This is the official directory of all deliverable addresses in the U.S. These addresses are identified by postal carriers and contain a record for every delivery point. If a record doesn’t match to the database, the USPS cannot guarantee that the record is deliverable.
