For over 50 years, R. L. Polk & Co. has been a corporate friend of The United Way. The United Way is a network of approximately 1,400 independent, community-based organizations dedicated to improving people’s lives by helping children and youth succeed, strengthening and supporting families, promoting self-sufficiency, building vital and safe neighborhoods and supporting vulnerable and aging populations.

Each year, Polk employees open their hearts and wallets, donating generously to the yearly Torch Drive campaign. The Company matches all contributions with a dollar-for-dollar Corporate Gift. Our participation has earned us numerous Gold Achievement Awards from the United Way.

In addition, employees at several Polk locations participate in the annual United Way Days of Caring event, whereby groups of corporate employees and other organizations visit United Way supported agencies and perform volunteer service. Participants can see first-hand the good that comes from their generosity to help solve community problems through hands-on volunteer projects.
