We are currently seeking an IT Applications Architect to serve as a knowledge expert in the research, design, customization, testing, implementation and support of IT projects focusing on multi-tier, web-based applications. The candidate will assist project managers in the completion of IT development projects within prescribed budget and schedule. Duties will include: preparing project resources and time estimates; assisting in creating project plans and allocating resources; documenting client requirements; defining business cases for new/enhanced products and services; developing software architecture; designing object models and developing technical specifications; defining new baseline features and functions; assigning and coordinating design tasks; providing guidelines and technical support to developers and reviewing their work; ensuring the quality of design and supporting software installation; and preparing technical documents and project reports. The position will require use of Java, J2EE, XML, EJB, Oracle Database, Oracle Application Servers, Web technologies, WSAD, MS Project, Rational Design tools and Visio.

The ideal candidate will have experience using J2EE, Oracle database, XML, EJB and WSAD.
